Last night we took our little family to Temple Square. It was beautiful. Dallin loved the lights and Alexa just slept, for the most part. I love being with my family. That is what Christmas is about. Being with the ones you love, and celebrating Christ's birth. I have finally got Dallin to make a sound when I ask him what this says..Santa says "ho ho ho". He does it and it is soo cute! I have the best kids in the world! My husband is a good man, I love him more than he will ever know.

I am exhausted. I can't seem to get just enough sleep. Alexa doesn't like to go to sleep til about midnight or one o'clock. Then when she wakes up at 5 to 6 am she is bright eyed and bushie-tailed. Oh the sweet life of a baby. She is doing well though. She is 4 weeks old and getting so big. She is just barely growing out of newborn clothes. She is so beautiful. My son is the best big brother. He is always trying to help put her blanket back on and put the carseat cover over her when we are getting into the car. He tries to climb up on the bouncer that she is in and give her a hug. Earlier today, he was running around our kitchen chasing the dogs, with a bowl on his head. If I could have gotten to my camera I would have gotten a picture.

Oh, the joys of a newborn. She loves to sleep during the day and be awake at night. Takes both of us to get back to sleep. She is just the most precious little girl in the world, we just wish she could get her nights and days switched.
today she is one month old. I can't believe it. She finally fits into newborn clothes. when she was born, even newborn clothes were too big.
Our son is doing pretty good. He loves to give her hugs and kisses. He just does them kinda hard. He will learn though. He is so smart and loves to help when we are doing something. I just hope that he doesn't always feel left out and get used to everything. they are the greatest kids in the world, couldn't ask for better kids.

Life is awesome! My daughter is here and doing very well. She is almost a month old now and how I wish she would sleep through the night like she did the first few days she was home. My son is doing fairly well with our addition. He will give her hugs, kisses, and try to pick her up. He's 16 months old. Life in my house is so much different, but so much better with kids. they make the atmosphere in my home. I couldn't ask for better kids. I got really lucky with my two kids. Christmas is going to be so much fun!

My son grows up so fast this is him last year barely moving around just learning everything. Parents can all agree to this. We went from a kid that would lay there a year ago and now this is are list of sayings with Dallin now.

•  Stop writing on the walls
• Don't hit the dogs
• Be nice to mommy
• Take your finger out of your nose
• Don't eat the dirt
• Can we have the broom or mop back
• Don't throw your food
• No we can't go outside
• Last but not least can I have my phone back

Yesterday I was working in my office and my son was very quite that is not normal.  I looked for my cell phone guess who had it my little boy.  He likes Sugarland because right when I took it from him I saw this DOWNLOAD COMPLETE and he downloaded one of there songs on my phone. He knows not to play with my phone because he does this little smile like don't be mad I was having fun please don't be mad. i didn't yell at him i just said "Dallin" with a normal voice Then a small moment happened that I can't forget he made his smile gave me a hug and I was able to tell him I love you. In a lifetime of events this is what we should  look forward to and hold on to because each moment we have might be last.  When it comes down to it those smiles and moments I have with Dallin, Jaci (my wife), and my dogs happen only once if I ignore it I MISS OUT.

       What could be more important than family especially starting out with one little one and one on the way. My wife is 37 weeks along and it will be a girl.There greatest thing is seeing them learn everything and see them grow so fast. We took a trip from Utah to Iowa and back which was a two week trip. Dallin, my little boy, was so excited when we arrived back home. Dallin loves to be outside and during the trip he seemed to be crammed in the car. The best  moment was when we got home he wanted to go outside and as a one year old not getting his own way by crying he does this he walks up to me with a smile gives me a huge and then gives me a kiss on my chin grabs my fingers and points to the door. He is one smart kid and he is always learning. One thing as a Father of a small family when my son or wife gets sick those moments go from fun and loving to a concern feeling for them I visited a web site called motherschildrenandmore.net and had allowed me not to feel as concern for them when there ill because of there area on kids health had an article on what to actually be worried about.
